Who we are

Bawa Fitness is a gym at Maa Kripa House, near Bulbul Bungalow, Rathodi Village, Marve Road, Malad West, Mumbai – 400095. This policy covers our website (bawafitness.in) and the private members app our owner uses to manage memberships. Questions: maddybawafitness@gmail.com or +91 88506 10724.

Our website

  • You don't need an account, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
  • The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message already written. Nothing is sent unless you press send, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy then applies.
  • The map on our Visit section is provided by Google Maps, which is covered by Google's privacy policy.
  • When we show a festival offer, your browser remembers that you have seen the popup so it isn't shown again. This stays on your device.
  • Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.

Members app (owner only)

Our owner uses a private app, protected by a login and a PIN, to keep membership records: a member's name, mobile number, plan, dates and payments. These records are stored only on the owner's phone. They are not uploaded to our website or shared with anyone. Fee reminders and receipts are sent to members from the owner's own WhatsApp.

Google Drive backups

The owner can back up the members app to their own Google Drive. When they choose to, the app asks Google for permission to create, see and edit only the files it creates itself (the drive.file permission). It saves backup files in a "Bawa Fitness Backups" folder in the owner's Drive and reads them back only to restore the app. It cannot see any other files in the owner's Drive, and the backups are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Bawa Fitness's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The owner can remove the app's access at any time from their Google Account settings.

If you are a member and want to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, ask us at the gym or contact us at maddybawafitness@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
